Event Builders Celebrates 20 Years

Event Builders, a Moultonborough New Hampshire based event planning and project management consulting firm, is marking 20 years in business announced Marcy L. Weeks, President.
Founded in the spring of 1989, Event Builders specializes in corporate event and meeting logistics management for the high-tech, telecommunications, and financial industries. Clients have included: NEC, Cullinet Software, Eastman Kodak, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Honeywell-Bull, Information Builders, Synopsys, Netezza, Phase Forward, Polaroid, Castle Networks, WebHire, Unisphere/Siemens, The Delhaye Group, Giltspur Exposition Services, Nth Degree Events, Dassault Systemes, and Fidelity Investments.
Weeks also explained that in order to contribute to local community activities her firm has worked with several New Hampshire based non-profits including: The Society for the Protection of NH Forests, The NH Wildlife Federation, The NH Preservation Alliance, NH Humanities Council, New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association, Camp Belknap, and the Lakes Region Scholarship Foundation.
“I started out in the meeting planning industry right out of college. It was a time of great growth in the high-tech sector which allowed me to learn a variety of skills early on. This enabled me to start my own business helping to manage a wide range of event types which include trade shows, internal sales meetings, seminars, and user group conferences.”
Event Builders has handled the details of meetings for groups as small as 25, and as large as 17,000. Weeks and her team plan events both nationally and internationally. In addition to their local work in New Hampshire, they have planned events throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia.
